Being Vulnerable

CHAPTER 2: VULNERABILITY

As the mission to self-discovery unfolds, there are many levels that we go through. Learning of guilt and shame are one of those journeys. Guilt and shame are 3 dimensional ways we beat up on ourselves for being human. In our minds we believe we should act, think, and be a particular way. Not knowing that everything that we are is just how we should be. Learning from different experiences to gain knowledge and grow is the purpose. Our minds can distract us from our true intent and purpose on this plane. I have a lot of experience in that department. I have been in many different circumstances because I would guilt myself into situations I did not want to be involved in. Many of the times I would guilt myself into a corner would usually involve family and friends. In those situations I had to learn of boundaries and it being ok to say no sometimes and be your own person. There are many dynamics that would guilt and shame us into oblivion if we let it take control.

Vulnerability is a great place to start the self-discovery journey. To be vulnerable is to be understanding. Understanding of the human experience and how we all have a personal journey to fulfill. Opening your heart chakra to receive and give love is a good first step. When your heart overflows with love, you become a lighthouse for other souls traveling through this life. Experiencing nature, just taking a walk outdoors and feeling the sun shining brilliantly on your skin is a great example of love. When your heart is full of love everything around you seems to heighten. Whether you heard birds singing beautiful harmonious chirps or just cuddling up with your significant other, pets, and/or children to watch a film one evening. Every moment of life will fill you with bliss.

Open your heart like it has never been open before. When times seem gloomy and you feel as though there is no foreseeable way out of whatever situation you may encounter on your life path, STOP! and say to yourself, “I am the highest expression of love and no outside energy can change my heart.” The Universe has always had the door open for us to receive love. We just have to recognize our unwavering connection and open ourselves to receiving all that we are predestined to inherit. Be grateful for every experience whether we receive it as “good” or “bad”. The road to living our purpose is already paved and we can not make any mistakes. Sometimes we may detour but every path will lead us to a better understanding when our hearts are open. Showing compassion for ourselves is the best way to receive what is for us. So let us accept our vulnerabilities in all its strength and pass it on. Understanding that what we give is already given back to us, we just have to open our hearts and be present and at peace.
