The Art of Capturing Life

Our eyes are a vision of wondrous sight. Vivid colors inundate the senses with the passing of seasons. Moments Captured. Mundane and Extraordinary. The gift of bringing your vision to an audience. Hoping to inspire a similar reaction felt at the moment of my initial viewing. This is the name of the game. Seeing the beautifully crafted art in its everyday setting is easier than it appears. The world is full of artists. Creators. Who constantly leave their imprint. My job is to spread the word. These images are some of what I encounter daily in my neighborhood. They tell the stories of what was, what is, and what is to come. A story of strife, imbalance, wealth, creativity, and the determination to survive. Colliding memories, developing into unprecedented victories. A story of a small town, with deep roots in the Confederacy. The home of the only standing Confederate factory 🏭 in the U.S. Home of the first African American Church in the country. Beautifully treacherous in its past. Wonderfully inspirational in it Triumph. A place I now call home.
