Describe a risk you took that you do not regret.

Success is a “good” job, a nice home, an expensive car, and vacations a few times a year. That is what I used to believe, at least, that is what I was told. Everyone around me had an idea of success that heavily relied on appearance. However, that was never my frequency. There was a period of limbo. When I forgot what I lived for, what inspired me to wake up everyday. 13 years, I gave to the dreams of others. When I “performed” success, my family was very proud. When I chose the path of success that was my truth, I became “lost” and a disappointment.

THE PIVOT. I stopped viewing myself from the eyes of others and looked in the mirror. Who was I? What did I become just to appease those around me? The moment I stared into my soul, I knew the truth. Success to me is FREEDOM. Freedom to move when I want. Freedom to create on impulse. Freedom to just exist without expectations and limitations.

The biggest risk I took was to bet on myself. A choice I will make over and over again. Never let anyone define your life. It’s your life, do with it as you please.
