Starting a spiritual journey can be a freeing experience. This eye opening journey on the road to self discovery, the world is waiting at your fingertips for you to explore. Although we see many images of love and light, the spiritual path can come with many obstacles and hardships. Every challenge that we face on the path is strategically set in place to help us learn and understand the role we play in this world. This article will talk about some of the obstacles we encounter on the spiritual journey and ways to overcome them, stay tuned.
Everywhere we look, we see many signs of spirituality. Today’s media has made it a huge market. Looking deeper into the spiritual journey, there are things many people encounter that is not talked about in the mainstream. In this article, we will discuss different obstacles sent to deter us on the path to awakening.
The Brain & Disease
Disease is formed in the body when energy builds up in the muscles and organs. Energy centers become blocked. Opening yourself up spiritually makes your body aware of energies within and without. Diseases are a manifestation of traumas that we’ve encountered. This can test our will and block the power that we hold within.
From heart attacks to cancer, many diseases form from levels of stress. Diseases can be a distraction. We may think to ourselves, “Why me? Why am I sick?” This is the best question we can ask ourselves, for it forces us to look deeper at the root cause of our issues. But how can we overcome diseases and what have the youth done in their short lifespan, in this timeline, to have disease? More importantly, how can we treat ourselves?
The Wonders of the Human Form
The body is a wonderful organism strategically designed to function at its highest capacity. The body will heal itself when the mind signals it to do so. However, we must be aware of how to send signals to the body to heal itself. Many studies in eastern medicines show how sending signals to the mind can actually help cure diseases.
One example of this is, from “Art and Science of Personal Magnetism” by Theron Q DuMont, speaks of a patient who had cancer and was sent to a doctor. This doctor had knowledge of Metaphysics and how the mind works based upon frequencies sent to the brain. When he gave a introductory checkup to the patient, he put a thermometer in his mouth. The patient was not familiar with a thermometer and thought this was his cancer treatments. Aware of this, the doctor left the thermometer in the patient’s mouth for 10 minutes and sent him on his way.
The doctor continued to treat the patient with the thermometer for a few months and the patients cancer was cured. Just by believing that the thermometer would cure him, signals were sent to the patient’s brain which sent signals throughout his body to heal itself.
Children & Disease
Children are beautifully pure, innocent beings. Although they are young, they are not new energetically to this earthly plane because energy is neither created or destroyed. That to say, children are here with energies from their previous lives. Everyone and everything is interconnected. Everyone and everything is here for a reason.
When of our precious children become disease ridden, there is underlying purpose to their suffering. It could cause their parents to become advocates to help other children like them. It can also show others how strong and how loving anyone can be in that circumstance. Whatever the cause, there is something that will come from their suffering. It is a difficult cross to bare, but promoting change is a difficult task.
The Long Hard Journey
On the spiritual journey, we can experience a dullness of life. We can feel uninspired by the mundane. Living life on autopilot. Feeling like you are not living your true purpose. This is to push you in the direction to your hearts fulfillment.
When we embark on a new path, we can be riddled with doubt. It can feel like impostor syndrome. As though we don’t have a story to tell or we are not qualified. Your experiences make you more than qualified for whatever it is you are heading towards. This is a test from the universe to see if you are truly dedicated to your path and if they can persuade you. Even Jesus faced doubt and fear at times and on his path. His faith was tested on numerous occasions.
Carelessness and wanting to give up or give in to old ways, laziness, because the path can be overwhelming can be another obstacle. We can also encounter moodiness and despair. Feelings of instability as we go along with the waves of energy and the shifts in consciousness. When you tap into the collective consciousness, you are not just experiencing your energy but the energy of the whole collective.
Gurus and teachers are a great way to help guide you through obstacles you encounter on your journey. Teachers come in many forms, across different medians. They can physically be in your presence, crossed over, or on social media platforms such as YouTube. Whoever resonates with you can help guide you along the way.
Places, people, and things are strategically placed upon your path to help guide you in the direction of your souls purpose and life fulfillment. Here are the different stages of awakening.

- Stage 1- Regaining your sense of innocence and wonder.
- Stage 2- You begin to let go of fear and experience the death of your Ego.
- Stage 3- Putting yourself first and step into your personal power.
- Stage 4- You become a more giving soul.

- Stage 6- Becoming the sage.
- Stage 7- Becoming one with spirit source consciousness.
Yes the journey can be arduous but it is a most fulfilling one. Stay strong along your path and seek out help from others when needed. You would not have taken the call if you weren’t ready to step into a higher purpose.
