Winter Love

How do you feel about cold weather?

Born in the coldest of months, the crisp, cool, winter air breathes life into my soul. Where I am from, we frequent the beach even when the sand is hardened by freezing temperatures. The ocean, silent and glistening.

The sweltering heat of Georgia summers are traumatic. Switching out harsh winters for even harsher summers was not the plan. I love the cold for more reason than one. During the winter months there are less bugs. My kryptonite. Georgia is not so forgiving. However, I have grown to love this plush landscape and it’s psychic weather. Although the coolness of Jersey winters forever hold a sacred place within my heart.
