What is the Dark Knight of the Soul
The Dark Knight of the soul as we so lovingly call it, but what is it? What does darkness mean, as we lead lives full of wonder and inspiration? Dreaming of futures untold. Darkness has many interpretations, silent and ominous. Darkness is plentiful and all around us.
Dark energy engulfs the cosmos. Making the smallest of stars shine the brightest. Darkness can swallow light like a supernova, sucking life like a ravenous vulture.
What is the soul? It can be described as the energy that lives within us. How we express our emotions, our deepest interpretations of how we see ourselves.
Going through the dark night of the soul is an earth shattering, eye opening experience. This journey dismantles all of our beliefs. Strips away energy that is not ourselves, to get to the core of who we truly are.
The Reprogramming
Outside sources and life experience has told us who we are. To rebuild, some things must be destroyed. To have a solid foundation that is unshakable unbreakable, one must lay brick by brick, with care and attention to detail. This will build an everlasting structure.
The Dark Knight of the Soul is a necessary right of passage. Without the darkness, we cannot appreciate the light. There is a duality in this life that must be upheld. No darkness without light. No good without bad. Duality is key and balance is necessary.
The Dark Knight of the soul makes you ask yourself the hard questions. This opens up lines of communication with you and spirit. This connection will lead you to your higher self and your true purpose. The dark night of the soul journey can be arduous, but it is most rewarding. Answer the call. Through tears and pain lies your greatest victory. You are loved, you are strong, and you are most important.
