Name an attraction or town close to home that you still haven’t got around to visiting.
I have lived in Georgia for almost 10 years. As an avid traveler, I love exploring new places. With that in mind, I made it my mission to travel to different parts of Georgia ranging from Savannah to Macon and different stops in between. The thing that always strikes me as odd is I live in Atlanta and I never truly explored the city and all it has to offer. I will admit, I am originally from a small town, where traffic means it take 5-10 minutes longer to get to your destination. Leading me to avoid Atlanta highways at all cost, but the one place here that I would like to visit is the Planetarium. I am obsessed with everything outer space and to have such a wonderful place in my backyard, I kick myself at the thought of never have visited.
I am also an avid hiker, but shamefully I admit I have never been to Stone Mountain Park. My time.in Georgia is coming to an end, but thanks to this prompt, I am reminded of the places I need to visit before I say my farewells. Georgia is a beautifully lush place, with many spots to explore. Thank you Georgia for allowing me to call you home for the pass decade.
