Where can you reduce clutter in your life?

Clutter in your home and in your mind creates a similar reaction in my brain. I was raised with a mother who had to have everything. She has not crossed into the hoarder category due to her need for organization and cleanliness. However, she is considered a collector of things. Organized chaos, that’s what I call it.

Due to this, ever since a child I have kept it light when it came to my personal possessions. I am a wanderer, so it definitely helps for easy transitioning. Even so, we all have a tendency to collect things through out life. Most of my clutter, usually is in the mind. The best way I have found to cope with this is through daily meditation. When I silence the mind, I can sort through my thoughts easily and discard filler/intrusive thoughts. The thoughts that do not aid to my life, but in fact, cause disruption. This is my way of decluttering. In what what’s do.you declutter?
