CHAPTER 1: ON LETTING GO
On Letting Go I realized that it does not mean to give up nor give in but to give of ones self to a higher purpose. Releasing all 3 dimensional wants and needs for a truly divine destiny. A place where we can have the most pleasure and gratitude of all our desires. The trial of everyday existence makes us feel lack. Chasing meaningless possessions to soothe our ego. On this journey of self-discovery, I have come to understand we enter this world complete. All the knowledge we need is within us, we just have to gain access. The Divine has given us all the tools we need to succeed but we are taught to forget our own divinity.
Divinity you say. Yes! In us all we have access to our higher self. This higher self has transcended all previous dimensions and we can readily have access. Have you ever sat alone with yourself in silence whether it be just before a nap or a afternoon walk at the park and your mind speaks to you? How about just before a good meditation session and without force your mind speaks to you? This is your higher self is communicating with you.
On Letting Go I have released my fear of the unknown. This comes from a place of the need for control. We are the creators of our environment, yet we do not control the sources outside ourselves. If we focus on what brings us joy and peace all problems will cease to exist. Of course, this is easier said than done. I used to think to myself, “Self, let’s not think about our problems and they will go away.” Doubtfully. Not realizing it is that easy. These “problems” we have are in some way or another the result of a choice we made somewhere along the way. If we are present and aware of the state of our mind and what is best for us in the long run, then we would make better choices about what we want the outcome to bring. If we focus on the goal, we are ultimately trying to achieve something which would bring us the greatest satisfaction. These problems would just be a reminder to focus on growing and understanding our nature.
On Letting Go I have learned of service. Giving of oneself for the greater good of the collective out of love. The more we connect and share our knowledge with the ones open to hear, the greater we become as a whole society when the message is love. I have learned of compassion, which can be hard in many different circumstances. We all have those days and situations that test our spirit. Compassion means accepting and understanding people where they stand. Selfishness can get in the way, always wanting it Right Here! Right Now! Not understanding that our time is just for us, but the universe does not abide by our rules and whatever you desire will come to you in divine timing as long as you are aligned. Have you ever wanted something, and you had a plan on how to get it done? Has it ever worked out exactly as you planned? I learned that my plan is not always the best plan. That one I learned a lot. But turns out something better always comes in its place. When I think back I realize whatever grief I”ve encountered along the way was to get me to the point I am today.
On Letting Go I have learned that Peace comes when we accept our purpose in this life without resistance. We must detach ourselves from the outcome so we can focus on what’s in the now. Every time I tried to control different circumstances in my life it seemed the worse it would get. Not understanding that I was resisting against the natural current and if I would pace myself a better way would be revealed. Peace is knowing that we are set up to succeed and we must get out of our own way so the true essence that is our spirit can shine through. Peace is realizing what we seek is also seeking us, we must open the door to our higher selves. We should embrace the best version of ourselves in the greatest light you could imagine. Whenever I get down on myself, I think of something that brings me joy and let my mind drift towards it. In that moment, instantly I am relieved of whatever ails me, knowing that the journey is what makes the destination worth the joy and pain of growth.
On Letting Go I have come to know that the Divine has given me everything I need to grow into my Divinity. No longer do I hold onto Hope. You do not need hope when you are divinely guided. Everything we seek is seeking us. So Now I Let Go. Do You?
